We can do something to save our community from the AIDS epidemic. We have already lost too many of our best and brightest – it’s time to commit to new action.
KNOW…That HIV is sexually transmitted. It is also transmitted by sharing needles.
REMEMBER… We cannot get HIV by giving blood, shaking hands, hugging or just being near someone who has the virus.
TELL… everyone we know – gay and straight – that HIV is not in the air. It is in the blood, semen and vaginal fluid.

Resource Initiatives Giving Hope through Training (RIGHT) Foundation was founded in1995 in response to the increasing incidence of HIV/AIDS in the Minority communities of Philadelphia. By 1996, RIGHT became a full-service agency providing education, training, mental health counseling and case management in the diagnostic areas of Diabetes, Hypertension and namely HIV/AIDS. Services focus on most at-risk urban communities, who happened to be minorities. Our mission is to provide culturally sensitive health related information, education through training, direct service, and research to the urban community.
